Earrings - Aurora Borealis Glass 3 Tier Drop

Hand sculpted earrings produced in Sunderland by Bede’s Way Jewellery, featuring aurora borealis glass hand wrapped in solid bronze to create a 3 tier drop. The purple glass crystals are cut to give optimum light refraction that can make the glass appear pink under certain light. Earring hooks are solid bronze, nickel free and hypoallergenic.

The artist is inspired by Anglo-Saxon history and design. The 12 mile Bede’s Way walk commemorates the Venerable Bede, the early medieval scholar who lived at the twin Anglo Saxon monasteries of St Paul’s in Jarrow and St Peter’s at Monkwearmouth, Sunderland.
