Sunderland Memory Bank package of 6 DVD’s and booklet produced to assist with dementia and memory loss.

Sunderland Libraries Services, in partnership with North East Film Archive have produced a valuable resource package, Sunderland Memory Bank can be used to help with prompting memory and encouraging conversation, reducing social isolation and increasing general well-being, unlocking memories and bringing conversation to back to life. 

Produced to be used as a reminiscence tool by healthcare professionals, care home groups, dementia care providers or family and friends, Memory Bank: Sunderland is a selection of six individual films that include popular topics such as holidays, school, working lives and there may even be a mention of football!!
