Trevor says ‘since the completion of The Grand Mansions of Sunderland several people made suggestions about further houses which could be included. It seemed that there were enough properties, hopefully of interest, to produce a second volume.  This has allowed me to extend the coverage to some houses located in the immediate area outside the city where the occupants had local connections.’
